This Thing Called "I"

Breathing into Being: Discovering the Infinite 'I' Within

Welcome to the new Heart Feather community Substack. You are receiving this post as at some time in the past, you expressed interest in what I do and what I have to share.

This will be a more public and open forum for those interested in following my work and philosophies.

This will also be a place to learn more about my upcoming book, The Medicine of Your Life. This is a project I have been working on for several years, and my goal is to have it published by the end of the year, maybe even for the holiday season.

The video above is a first introduction to this Substack. It will rapidly grow into a thought-provoking resource for all.

What is this thing called "I"? Mostly, it is a reference to oneself, used in a way that is not at all meant to be profound. Yet, our deepest sense of self also exists beyond our roles and societal labels. I contemplate the essence of consciousness and how we connect to the core of our being, stripping away the layers that define us superficially. My narrative weaves through personal experiences, highlighting how easily we become entangled in what we are perceived to be rather than who we truly are.

Throughout my talk, I emphasize the practice of meditation, mainly focusing on the breath as a gateway to the inner self and a bridge to the infinite. I discuss the profound impact of ayahuasca ceremonies on self-realization, describing the breath as a lifeline during these transformative experiences. By embracing the power of concentration and presence, we touch upon the love and timeless essence that lies within us all. The discussion is open, inviting the audience to engage and explore these concepts further, closing with an expression of gratitude for the shared exploration of this profound journey.

I know this is short notice, but I would like to invite you to the following talk. I am a guest speaker today from 8:00 CET | 9:00 AM PT | 12:00 PM ET in the PAUA Community Call - if you consider joining please find all the details in their newsletter.

Thanks for reading my newsletter! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.
